April 26, 2021, Chișinău, Nice - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration announces the conclusion of the stages of establishment and organization of the activity of the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Nice. Following the recent obtaining of the last authorizations from the French authorities, the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Nice, starting from May 3, 2021, will open its doors to the public.

In view of the need to make technical arrangements, the reception of citizens in the audience from the date indicated above will be carried out for the provision of all consular services, except for the preparation of identity documents (ballots and passports). The aforementioned identity documents will be completed in the immediate period.

According to the General Consul Lilian Moraru, the creation of the Consulate general of the Republic of Moldova, in the city of Nice, is coming to support the community of the Moldovan citizens from the regions of Provence - Alpes - Côte d'Azur région, Occitanie, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Auvergne - Rhône - Alpes, Corse, as well as to foster the Moldova-French relationship in the area of economic, cultural, and scientific fields.
