The programs implemented in our country by the International Republican Institute discussed at MFAEI

November 28, 2019, Chișinău - The projects implemented by the International Republican Institute (IRI) in our country were discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Aureliu Ciocoi, with the new head of the IRI mission in Moldova, Andrea Keerbs.

Minister Aureliu Ciocoi welcomed the programs implemented by the International Republican Institute, which encourages the active participation of women in political processes, supports the networks of local public authorities and youth initiatives. "The involvement of civil society in the development of democracy remains an unquestionable priority of the current government," the head of the Moldovan diplomacy underlined.

Andrea Keerbs communicated about the availability of IRI to further develop various programs in our country and to expand the planned projects during 2020, mentioning the main directions of the Institute's activity.

Note: Founded in 1983, the International Republican Institute is a non-profit organisation, committed to promoting democracy and freedom through workshops of volunteer experts from around the world. In the Republic of Moldova, IRI has been operating since 2003.
