MFAEI team took part in the “European Village” 2019

11 May 2019, Chișinău – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration along with other state institutions took part in the “European Village”, the annual public event organised by the Delegation of the European Union in Chișinău on the occasion of Europe Day, held in the “Ștefan cel Mare” Public Garden.

The 2019 edition of the “European Village” was a special one, because it celebrated some significant anniversaries: 10 years since the launch of the Eastern Partnership, of which the Republic of Moldova is part, 5 years since the signing of the RM-EU Association Agreement and 5 years since the entry into force of the visa-free travel regime to the European Union.

The event was attended by a record number of Moldovan state institutions. The 26 participating institutions, among which the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, State Chancellery, ministries, agencies, bureaus, national authorities and state enterprises made visible the efforts taken and the results that our country has achieved on its European integration path over the past few years.

The visitors of the MFAEI stand had the possibility to get obtain answers to their questions about the Eastern Partnership, Association Agreement and the RM-EU cooperation in general and the informative materials shared by MFAEI team and the general culture quizzes regarding the European integration process have enhanced the interactive character of the communication with citizens of all ages.

In this context, we would like to remind all that on the 18th of May the "European Village" 2019 will visit Cahul, where there are also scheduled a range of cultural activities and where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will greet everyone who wishes to know more about the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
