South Eastern Europe

The Republic of Moldova actively participates in the processes of regional cooperation and beginning with the year 2000, participates  and the initiatives in the field of Mass Media, local democracy and trans border cooperation, parliamentary cooperation, youth and education, gender issues, trade and investments, energy and regional infrastructure, social cohesion, international society, fighting corruption and organized crime, migration, asylum and refugees, disaster preparedness and prevention and others.

The Republic of Moldova is a member of the South East European Cooperation Process, Regional Cooperation Council, SECI Centre, RACVIAC Centre, CEFTA, and other South-Eastern European arrangements.

Regional Cooperation is a mechanism and a complementary tool for advancement of the Republic of Moldova in the process of European integration and alignment to the European values, principles and standards.
