The reunion of Eastern Partnership Senior Officials was held in Brussels
4th of October, Brussels – The recent evolution regarding the implementation of 20 deliverables of Eastern Partnership (EaP) by 2020 and suggestions regarding the celebration of 10 years of Eastern Partnership activity were discussed at the reunion of EaP Senior officials.

Secretary of state, Daniela Morari made an overview of the registered progress and referred to the priorities of the Republic of Moldova to be completed in the forthcoming period. There was underlined the interest in strengthening the dialogue on security issues between Republic of Moldova and the EU. Within the economic segment was appreciated the launching of the dialogue between EU and three associated countries regarding the implementation of DCFTA and encouraged further interaction in the same format. As for the connectivity area, was emphasized the importance of practical implementation of east expansion of Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

Secretary of state Daniela Morari has supported the organization of a high level event on the occasion of 10 years anniversary of the Eastern Partnership in the spring of next year. There was underlined the relevance of initiating a reflection on Partnership long-term objectives beyond 2020.

The discussion held at the reunion proved the interest of European institutions, EU member states and Eastern partners to enhance the visibility of the Partnership through promotion of the benefits for citizens. Today’s meeting has contributed to the preparation of the Eastern Partnership ministerial reunion which will be held in middle of October.
