The new Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland presented the copies of the letters of credence

October 3rd, London – The Ambassador–designate of the Republic of Moldova to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Angela Ponomariov, presented the copies of the letters of credence to the Director of Protocol and Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps, Neil Holland.

During the ceremony for the presentation of the letters of credence, Angela Ponomariov and Neil Holland have discussed a range of subjects, such as the development of the Moldovan-British political dialogue at various levels, enhancement of trade, as well as the need to ensure the appropriate bilateral legal framework after the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union.

The Ambassador-designate referred to the priorities of her mandate, highlighting the importance of further enhancing the multidimensional cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, promoting the European agenda of our country, and protecting the rights of Moldovan citizens living in the United Kingdom.

In his turn, the Director of Protocol and Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps, Neil Holland, welcomed the new Ambassador to London, wishing her success in her mission and ensuring her of the full support of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom.
