The cooperation with the EU within the Common Foreign and Security Policy was discussed in Chişinău

8th of June, Chişinău – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, had a meeting with Gabor Iklody, Director of the Crisis Management and Planning Directorate within the European External Action Service.

During the discussions the main developments in the dialogue of the Republic of Moldova with the European Union on the dimension of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) were analyzed, as well as new opportunities to extend the collaboration.

The officials have appreciated the upward dynamic of the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union in the field of the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP), in particular the involvement of Moldovan experts in the EU crisis management operations.

The participation of the Republic of Moldova in CFSP and CSDP is an important aspect for the development of the political relations with the EU, contributing to the efforts of promoting stability and security at local, regional, and global level.
