Daniela Morari: „EaP offers us the possibility of new bilateral and multilateral beneficial cooperation”
May 28th, Chişinău - New initiatives for bilateral (RM-EU) and multilateral cooperation (with the EU associated countries - Georgia, Ukraine) in the Eastern Partnership, as well as the latest developments and progress in the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, were mentioned by State Secretary Daniela Morari at the conference "EaP Interdependencies: The Impact of Trade, Energy, Migration and Security on the Eastern Partnership".

In his address at the opening of the conference, the State Secretary MFA IE Daniela Morari spoke about the latest developments and progress in the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement in areas such as trade, energy, migration and security, as well as the new initiatives for bilateral and multilateral cooperation under the Eastern Partnership. The State Secretary also stressed the importance of strengthening the strategic dialogue on security and defense, as well as the need for more structured cooperation between the three associated states and the EU on trade, transport, energy, digital cooperation, etc.

The event was organized by IDIS "Viitorul" within the EU-STRAT project with the financial support of the European Union Program for Research and Innovation Orizont 2020. We remind that EU-STRAT is an international research project that studies the relationship between the European Union and the countries from the Eastern European Neighborhood. It was launched on 1 May 2016 in order to provide an internal analysis and strategic evaluation of the links between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries and will continue until the end of April 2019.
