A delegation of the British Royal College of Defense Studies visitied MFAEI

14th May, Chişinău - The priorities of the Republic of Moldova's foreign policy, the process of European integration and reintegration of the country, as well as regional security issues were discussed at the meeting between Secretary of State Tatiana Molcean with a group of MA students from the Royal College of Defense Studies from UK.

In her speech State Secretary referred to the foreign policy, the process of European integration and reintegration of the country, as well as regional security issues. "The number one objective of the Republic of Moldova is the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU and both the Government and Parliament from Chişinău are strongly determined to promote the necessary reforms to advance in this direction. Regarding the country's reintegration process, we look positively on the progress made in the dynamics of the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, through the implementation of the agreements reached in recent months.”

In turn, the members of the delegation were interested in the evolutions of the Transnistrian conflict settlement, the progress made in the European integration process and the projects implemented with the EU support, as well as the cooperation on the common security and defense dimension.

We would like to remind that such study visits of postgraduate students from the institutions for strategic studies from other countries, have already become traditional in the Republic of Moldova.

The College delegation includes civilian and military experts from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, the State of Qatar, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Malaysia and India.
