State Secretary Daniela Morari has attended two important meetings of the South East Europe

April 24th, Brdo pri Krajnu – State Secretary Daniela Morari participated at the 10th Annual Meeting of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Board, followed by the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP).

In her intervention, Daniela Morari expressed our country’s strong support for the integration process in South East Europe in the context of regional cooperation, as well as for close cooperation with the EU during the process of implementing the necessary reforms, which are contributing to stability and prosperity in the region.

At the same time, during the meeting were appreciated the RCC Secretariat’s efforts in carrying out the planned activities in order to strengthen the region's commitment to the European Integration. Daniela Morari reiterated the importance of strengthening the role of the SEECP at regional level, being the most appropriate platform for multilateral dialogue, exchange of experience and development of partnerships in the region in the context of wide European integration processes.

The RCC was officially established on 27 February 2008 as successor to the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe (ESPSE) and represents the result of a comprehensive process of restructuring regional cooperation formats in order to adapt them to the current conditions of region. The RCC aims to support regional cooperation in South East Europe through a framework of regional affiliation and management and also provides support for the European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
