During his working visit to Belgrade, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Galbur had a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić.

Interlocutors have discussed current topics on the agenda of bilateral relations, in particular, being confirmed mutual interest in intensifying political dialogue, boosting trade and economic exchanges, as well as expanding the bilateral legal framework.

In an exchange of views on the actions taken by the authorities of both countries to deepen relations with the EU it was stressed the importance of continuing Moldovan-Serbian inter-ministerial political consultations on European integration. Ministers also agreed upon the need to continue mutual support within international organizations.

Ministers also tackled other issues of mutual interest, such as the Transnistrian settlement process and the latest developments in field of security internationally and regionally.

After the talks, both ministers held a press conference.
