Deputy Foreign Minister Lilian Darii received the UN Resident Coordinator Dafina Gercheva
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii received today the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for the Republic of Moldova, Dafina Gercheva.
 
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed about the new UN-Republic of Moldova Partnership Framework for Sustainable Development 2018-2022, which will be endorsed in the upcoming future. Deputy Minister Darii expressed his confidence that this document will successfully contribute to the implementation of the development strategies of the Republic of Moldova and will help our country implement its international commitments.   
 
The two officials also reviewed actions taken under the auspices of the National Coordination Council for Sustainable Development in the context of the 2030 Agenda implementation and the process of the nationalization of Sustainable Development Goals.
 
Deputy Minister Dari expressed gratitude to the UN official for supporting the implementation of confidence building measures between the population on both sides of the Nistru river and gave assurances that the authorities of the Republic of Moldova will continue to cooperate with UNDP in implementation of joint projects.
