Accreditation of Foreign Journalists
The Procedure of Accreditation of Foreign Media Representatives with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
The accreditation of foreign media representatives is based on the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova No.39 of June 2, 1995, published in the Official Gazette No. 38-39 of July 14, 1995.
In order to visit the Republic of Moldova as a reporter and to obtain accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the administration of the media institution (newspaper, agency) must send a request for accreditation (specifying the name, passport details, duration) with its signature, registration number and seal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, by fax (+37322) 23-23-02, or by e-mail.
If you are a freelancer, you need to present a certificate from the national journalists association, confirmed by an Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country. Upon preliminary consideration of the request, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova, indicated by the applicant, will be entitled to issue an entry visa to the Republic of Moldova.
Upon arrival in the Republic of Moldova, foreign journalists are asked to contact the Mass-media Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
