The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration
is the central body which promotes the State’s policy in the area of foreign relations and conducts its activity in conformity with the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Moldova, the decisions of the Parliament, Decrees of the President of the Republic of Moldova, decisions of the Government, and other normative documents, international treaties and agreements to which the Republic of Moldova is party.

- Moldovan Delegation Participates in the OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum

- The Moldovan delegation, headed by the Deputy-minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Valeriu Ostalep, participates at the 17th Meeting of the OSCE Economic and Environment Forum, which is held in Athens on May 18-19, under the Greek Presidency of the OSCE. The Forum is focused on issues related to migration management in the context of global economic crisis as well as on connections with the security and stability policies in the OSCE area.

- On the occasion of the participation at the Eastern Partnership Summit, Andrei Stratan, Deputy Prime -Minister, Minister for Foreign Affaires and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova met today in Prague, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Commissioner responsible for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy. The discussions mainly touched upon the current social and political situation from the Republic of Moldova and EU, possibilities of further developing the EU-Moldova relations.
